@CaptinRedRibbon Lol, it's pronounced SanTa, people just say it fast in their sloppy LA accents (and I can say that because I'm from LA) and it ends up sounding like "Sana."
Santa is Spanish for saint. It's used with Santa Monica the same way that it's used with Santa Barbara and Santa Cruz.

@pdaervo I guess it's just the accent hehe (I'm californian )and just never heard the T prononced, SanTa makes me think of christmas.
