How aren't the youtube music video parodies copyright infringement?
ByI see all of these youtube partners like Venetian Princess, Shane Dawson, etc. who make parodies of well-known songs. the lyrics are original, vlogging but the music is the same? How are they still getting paid by youtube when they are obviously using the same exact music? Also, I watch vlogs such as ctfxc and shaycarl who sometimes are in the car and have music on, isnt that copyright infringement also? help! im thinking of posting some spoofs im gonna make, but i dont wanna be caught in any trouble.

I'm sure you wont get in trouble.
It's not copy-right infringment unless you pretend the song is yours. If you have the same music but diffrent lyrics you can't get introuble, cause ur not stealing anything. The parody isn't theirs.

In the US this type of "expression" falls under the Fair Use heading:
Section 107 contains a list of the various purposes for which the reproduction of a particular work may be considered fair, such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Section 107 also sets out four factors to be considered in determining whether or not a particular use is fair:
The purpose and character of the use, including whether such use is of commercial nature or is for nonprofit educational purposes
The nature of the copyrighted work
The amount and substantiality of the portion used in relation to the copyrighted work as a whole
The effect of the use upon the potential market for, or value of, the copyrighted work
